This gentleman started off when the British Raj was at the peak of its powers in India in the year 1864. The Raj was at its height and Great Britain then was truly great both in name and show of power and reach. He had a dream and dared to put the dream to reality when he put up a showroom in the heart of the Indian jewellery market Zaveri Bazar in India’s commercial and financial capital Mumbai. He was a man who had tremendous will power, belief in himself and the skills of the Indians.
